Dr Gul Ahmed Jokhio

Dr Gul Ahmed Jokhio is an Associate Professor at The British University in Dubai. He graduated from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan and then went on to obtain his doctorate from Imperial College London, United Kingdom. Dr Jokhio has a vast experience of research and field work in Civil Engineering. Before doing his PhD, he worked as an Executive Engineer at Gwadar Development Authority, where he planned, designed and managed infrastructure projects. After attaining the PhD in 2012, he switched to academia and worked as Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor at University Malaysia Pahang prior to joining this institution. His research interests include Advanced Structural Analysis and Sustainable Construction Materials. He has published several research papers in high quality international journals. He was part of the team that won the Bronze Prize at Seoul International Invention Fair, South Korea in 2018.
