For the successful execution of projects, a comprehensive mechanism of stakeholder management and project governance are essential. An appraisal of the relevant studies is conducted to figure out the various relevant themes which have not widely been discussed in Pakistan specific studies. This study identifies inadequacies in the planning process and emphasizes the need for project governance and stakeholder management to achieve the desired outcomes.
