Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly integral to various sectors globally, with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) demonstrating notable interest and investment in this field. This dissertation explores the convergence of AI and commercial arbitration, recognising the transformative potential it holds for enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving accessibility in dispute resolution. By utilising AI technologies such as predictive analytics and natural language processing, commercial arbitration processes can be streamlined and expedited, while ensuring objectivity and accuracy. However, ethical considerations regarding privacy and bias must be carefully addressed to maintain the integrity of arbitration proceedings. This study aims to investigate the implications of AI integration in commercial arbitration, providing insights into its theoretical and practical significance, identifying challenges, and proposing regulatory frameworks to guide its responsible implementation. Through a comprehensive analysis, it seeks to understand the evolving relationship between AI and commercial arbitration in the UAE, predicting future trends and offering recommendations for enhancing arbitration practices in the digital age.
