Exploring Critical Success Factors Affecting Workplace Wellbeing (WWB) at Boeing UAE

Abstract

This study examined the impact of four critical success factors (CSFs) on the Workplace Wellbeing (WWB) of employees at the Boeing company in Dubai. WWB is important because happy and healthy employees are instrumental to organizational success. Using interviews from ten employees across different departments, the study analyzed four CSFs that were workload, managerial support, organizational climate, and HR practices. The study also analyzed the impact of demographic factors such as tenure, location, and gender. The findings showed that all the four CSFs and the demographic factors were important and had an impact on WWB. The study concludes that organizations should proactively implement key initiatives linked to each CSF to enhance WWB and mitigate the impact of the demographic factors. The initiatives should be implemented in an orderly and consistent manner. Employees and managers should be clearly informed about how to access and use such initiatives.
