Professor Omar Alhyari

Dr. Alhyari worked on a full time basis in law firms in Dubai during 2009-2017. He was a Partner with Hussain Lootah and Associates (Attorneys & Counselors at Law), and a Senior Associate with Altamimi & Co. This gave him the opportunity to work on many construction-related arbitration and litigation cases. Dr. Alhyari also taught on a part-time basis at the University of Dubai during the period 2012-2016, and he regularly sits as sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator and chairman of arbitral tribunals in ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations.
