These factors mainly involve social and cultural differences of both the target culture and native culture because learning English as a secondary language involves learning style, language skills mainly involving speaking or listening and approaching of instructions. Understanding the effects of social and cultural differences provides an insight into the relationship of culture and English language. The evaluation of this relationship is likely to have a positive impact or influence in the classroom which results in positive and increased learning outcomes. This dissertation discusses a number of theories attempting to evaluate the effects of social and cultural differences in learning English as a secondary language. The context of this study involves experience of people as it is related to culture which is put together by people of a society.
