This study investigated the one-to-one laptop initiative in the Applied Technology High school in the United Arab Emirates. It examined the implementation of laptops in science classes, teachers and students attitudes and how the initiative affected the students’ academic achievement. The data collection tools used were teachers and students questionnaires and students mark review. The results of the study suggested that teachers and students had positive attitudes as well as some negatives during the implementation. It also concluded that students have achieved better when they use laptops to study science.
